CODEX
ALIMENTARIS ENDS U.S. SUPPLEMENTS IN JUNE 2005
Working stealthily BIG PHARMA has rapidly pushed their
legislative program (Codex Alimentaris) in Europe that
will eliminate the free choice Americans now have to purchase
vitamins, herbs, minerals, homeopathic remedies, aminoacids
and nutritional supplements. This elimination of all competition
for the pharmaceutical industry will produce an enormous
increase in the already exorbitant profits earned by the
pharmaceutical firms. Of even greater significance the
lack of free choice to stay well by taking effective nutritional
substances will promptly be followed by a sharp increase
in illnesses that will only be treated in the future with
pharmaceutical drugs. - NEWSWITHVIEWS.com

Astonishing
Amount Of Oil And Gas Off Louisiana
Cathles and his team estimate that in a study area of
about 9,600 square miles off the coast of Louisiana, source
rocks a dozen kilometers down have generated as much as
184 billion tons of oil and gas. "That's 30 percent
more than we humans have consumed over the entire petroleum
era," Cathles says. "And that's just this one
little postage stamp area; if this is going on worldwide,
then there's a LOT of hydrocarbons venting out."

Discharged
and Dishonored: Shortchanging America's Veterans
Like thousands of his fellow veterans of America's wars,
Alfred Brown died waiting.
In 1945, when he was a 19-year-old soldier fighting
in Italy, shrapnel from an enemy shell ripped into his
abdomen. His wounds were so severe that he was twice
administered last rites. When Brown came home, the government
that had promised to care for its wounded veterans instead
shorted him. - Knight Ridder Newspapers

Craig Roberts.

Making
Iraq out of Lebanon
It is noteworthy that despite the association
of leading Western police officers with the investigation,
no progress has been made. All the Western human and
technical resources have not been able to determine
definitively whether the assassination was carried out
by a suicide bomber or through a remote-control mechanism.It
seems as if the US, France and others do not want the
investigation to make progress ... -B Raman/Asia Times

Says Aggression Against Taiwan a Last Resort
China outlined an anti-secession bill
on Tuesday that allows military force to head off any
independence bid by Taiwan, legislation that has heightened
tensions in the Taiwan Strait. While the bill has raised
alarm bells in Taiwan, analysts said language in the
draft emphasizing the use of "non-peaceful" means as
a last resort appeared designed to leave Beijing alternatives
